Successful defence of 3D printing and temperature influence

On 11 February 2025, Tanja Stiller successfully defended her scientific thesis entitled ‘Impact of Thermal Bonding and Temperature on Mechanical Properties of Additively Manufactured Polymer Parts’.

Tanja Stiller shed light on a highly topical issue in the field of additive manufacturing: she focussed on the question of how thermal bonding processes and different temperature influences change the mechanical properties of 3D-printed polymer components. Various methods were investigated in order to optimise the structural integrity and performance of the materials.
