The family-owned company Teufelberger has been producing high-quality ropes and strapping for over 200 years. Leonie supported the R&D department in Wels and worked towards her goal of increasing the recycled content in polypropylene products during her internship. She was mainly involved in measuring melt rheology and oxidative degradation reactions (DSC-OIT).
Did you also do a (mandatory) internship during the summer and would you like to submit it for your bachelor's degree? This is how it works:
- Complete your internship: You have to complete a total of 80 working days of internship. You can divide these into blocks of at least 20 days.
- Prepare your documents:
- After your internship, you fill out the internship form and have it signed by your internship company.
- You also have to write an activity report describing what you did during the internship.
- After your internship, you fill out the internship form and have it signed by your internship company.
- Submission:
- Send the signed internship form and the original activity report to the program coordinator.
- It's best to clarify beforehand whether everything is in order. If you are unsure, send an e-mail to the program coordinator.
- When to do it?
- Ideally, you should do the internship in the 7th semester. However, you can also start earlier, from the 3rd semester, although it makes more sense to start from the 5th semester.
You can find more information and all the forms here: Compulsory internship.
