The 27th Leoben Polymer Colloquium is history. This year, the colloquium's motto was "Print & Coat". Numerous national and international experts from business and science came together to discuss potentials and future trends in this field.

After the ceremonial opening by the Rector of the University of Leoben, Univ.-Prof. Wilfried Eichlseder and the Vice-Mayor of the Municipality of Leoben, Maximilian Jäger, an exciting two-day conference programme awaited the approximately 200 participants, with presentations by renowned representatives from industry and research.

The lectures provided information on new trends and future developments in additive manufacturing, presented new materials for 3D printing and innovative concepts for smart application technologies, highlighted the design and functionality of printed components and demonstrated the characterisation of surfaces and coatings. In addition to contributions from recognised scientists, technical experts from relevant companies, such as LSS Laser Sinter-Service, Profaktor, e-Xstream Engineering, Payer Medical, Cubicure, Helios TBLUS, Adler Lacke, O.K. + Partner, HAGE Sondermaschinenbau, Krüss and Thermo Fischer.
