From May 31 to June 4, 2026, the Institute of Plastics Processing and the Institute of Materials Science and Testing of Plastics jointly participated in the international PPS Conference in Salerno, Italy. A total of 10 staff members from our department were in attendance and presented their research findings to an international audience of experts.
With a total of 10 presentations, including 2 keynote presentations, as well as 2 scientific posters, the team made a significant contribution to the conference’s scientific program. This strong presence underscores our department’s international visibility and research strength.
With 825 participants from around the world, PPS-41 was one of the most important events in the field of polymer science and polymer processing. The scientific program included 7 plenary lectures, 96 keynote lectures, 431 technical presentations, and 280 poster presentations, offering an excellent platform for the international exchange of knowledge and experience.
The conference facilitated numerous technical discussions, the deepening of existing collaborations, and the establishment of new scientific contacts. A particular highlight was the impressive opening ceremony, which delighted the participants. The closing of the conference was equally emotional and unforgettable, rounding off the event in a special way.
