In July and August, we are pleased to welcome a total of 16 summer interns to our five chairs of plastics engineering at Montanuniversität Leoben. During their internship, they gain exciting insights into the diverse research areas of plastics engineering and experience firsthand the day-to-day work in university laboratories and research.
The summer interns are distributed among the five departments and work alongside our research assistants and technicians on various projects. In the process, they gain valuable practical experience, expand their technical knowledge, and gain insights into scientific work.
The summer internships are financially supported by our five chairs, the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), and the Rector’s Office of Montanuniversität Leoben. This funding plays a key role in sparking an early interest in science and technology among young people and in fostering the next generation of scientists.
We are delighted to welcome the summer interns to the Department of Plastics Engineering and wish them an exciting, educational, and successful internship. In August, two additional summer interns will also be joining our team.
