Three successful Master's defenses – Congratulations!

Yesterday, three graduates presented their Master’s theses. We congratulate them on their outstanding achievements and exciting research findings!

On 8 June 2026, the Master’s thesis defences took place at the Centre for Polymer Engineering and Science. Three graduates impressed the examination committee with their well-founded research, clear analyses and practically relevant results.

  • Daniela Perkoinigg, Master’s thesis: “Investigation of thiol-epoxy thermosets: Influence of polythiol hardeners on thermomechanical properties  ”
  • Sebastian Juranek, Master’s thesis: “Imines as chemical predetermined fracture points in polymer networks for degradable 3D printing materials”
  • Michael Dörfler, Master’s thesis: “Tuning Mechanical Properties of Dual-Wavelength Thiol-Methacrylate Resins via Orthogonal Photoreactions  ”

We wish our graduates all the best for their future careers – whether in research, industry or start-ups – and look forward to staying connected through a strong alumni network.
