Responsibilities:
Your role will involve the methodological further development of the processing procedures at the Processing of Composites and Design for Recycling Group. In particular, the aim is to expand the existing laying and winding technology. The existing non-destructive in-line monitoring system for the laying and winding plant is to be integrated into a closed-loop control system and expanded to include additional sensors. This work is to be accompanied by a life-cycle analysis. The results of this work are to be subjected to mechanical testing for validation and scientifically analysed.
You will be responsible for the independent scientific investigation of these issues in the field of composite processing (and recycling). Your duties will include the independent planning, evaluation and coordination of the necessary theoretical, scientific and experimental work. In addition, your responsibilities will include general administrative tasks within the context of the department’s organisation, e.g. managing the technical infrastructure, and contributing to teaching activities.
