International Polymer Process Innovation Conference

At the Polymer Process Innovation Congress (PPI) at the University of Bradford, staff from the Department of Plastics Processing presented the latest research findings on innovative approaches to plastics processing.

Three exciting presentations were contributed by our employees:

  • Zidar, David: “How steel and surface coatings influence wear resistance in injection molding”
  • Holzer, Clemens: “The battle for sustainability: Paths to a circular economy for products made of multiple materials and components”
  • Zidar, David Representing Shahrooidi, Zahra: “An approach to improving material performance while reducing environmental impact?”

The conference provided an excellent platform for scientific exchange and networking with international experts from industry and research. Prof. Holzer co-chairs the PPI organizing committee and is a member of the scientific committee. This international congress will be held here in Leoben next fall in 2026.
