Prof. Clemens Holzer elected to the board of WAK

The Scientific Working Group of Polymer Engineering and Science (WAK) has elected a new board: University Professor Dr.-Ing. Elmar Moritzer of Polymer Engineering and Science at the University of Paderborn was elected as spokesperson.

In addition to Elmar Moritzer, the other board members are Univ.-Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Dr. mont. Clemens Holzer from the Department of Polymer Engineering at the Montanuniversität Leoben/Austria and Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hans-Peter Heim from the Institute of Materials Engineering - Plastics Technology at the University of Kassel. The new board will hold office for the next two years. The previous spokesman, Professor Bonten, is leaving the board as requested.

The WAK is committed to scientific and professional promotion in the field of Polymer Engineering and Science. It exchanges experience with individuals, institutions and research associations active in the field of Polymer Engineering and Science and coordinates university research interests by coordinating with other working groups. In addition, it establishes and maintains contacts with research institutions, associations and funding bodies, maintains contacts with industrial companies as well as industrial associations and carries out public relations work for the interests of Polymer Engineering and Science.
