The “Pack2TheLoop” project has developed a holistic approach to a functioning circular economy in the packaging sector. The aim of the project is to effectively reduce packaging waste and to return it to the material cycle in a value-adding way using innovative recycling technologies. Through close collaboration with industry, it has been possible to design packaging in such a way that it can be reused more often or recycled to a high standard, which helps to conserve resources and reduce environmental impact. Further information can be found in our Biennial Report 2021-2022 on page 58.
