Researchers from the Department Polymer Engineering and Science were represented with exciting contributions:
- Prof. Clemens Holzer: Symposium Organiser C6 – Advanced polymers and composites processing
This symposium dealt with polymers, their enormous variety of materials and their extremely efficient manufacturing processes, which enable us to enjoy a very high standard of living. This symposium aimed to address advances in the processing of polymers and composites from all relevant perspectives.
- DI Dr Florian Arbeiter: Symposium Organiser A7 – Functional materials: synthesis and applications & presentation ‘Effect of gaseous hydrogen on polyethylene pipe materials (H2toPipes)’
This symposium focused on the synthesis, processing and application of novel functional and multi-material materials. Topics included the design, processing, characterisation and application of functional polymers and composites, metals and ceramic materials.
- DI Carina Maurer: Presentation ‘Influence of processing methods on the crack resistance for a polypropylene/recyclate blend and the virgin material’ (CD-Labor)
- DI Matthias Pferschy: Poster ‘Electrifying foil characterisation – Mechanical characterisation of electrode materials for simulation purposes’ (BattLab with PCCL)
