Sneak Peek Ahead: Preliminary Program Now Available!

We are pleased to share with you the preliminary program for this year’s Leoben Conference on Polymer Engineering and Science, which will also mark the 15th anniversary of the Processing of Composites and Design for Recycling Group.

To celebrate this occasion, we are organizing four dedicated sessions featuring contributions from current staff and alumni of the institute. These sessions will highlight key developments and achievements in the following areas:

  • Composite Manufacturing Technologies
  • Characterization, Sensing and Testing
  • Life Cycle Assessment
  • Applications for Composites

In addition, a parallel session will offer a broader perspective on current research across the Department of Polymer Engineering and Science and the Polymer Competence Center Leoben (PCCL), as well as selected industry contributions. The session topics include:

  • Biobased Composites with Advanced Properties
  • Technical Advances in Fiber-Reinforced Composites: Materials, Performance and Design
  • Future Trends in Polymer Technology
  • From Processing to Failure: Virtual Strategies for Composite Materials

We are looking forward to an inspiring program that reflects the dynamic development of polymer composite technologies in both academia and industry.
