Grants and subsidies

The Student Council supports our students with grants and subsidies. Below are some forms that can be used to apply for grants.

Grant for books

Reason for the action:

In the course of the bachelor and master studies in plastics technology, technical literature in the field of plastics technology may be required for the preparation of exams. For this reason, the plastics technology student council wants to support the students in purchasing this literature

Amount of the grant: 50% of the purchase price but not more than 40€.

Who is entitled to apply: students in the field of study Plastics Technology

Criteria to be fulfilled:

  1.  Submit application to the plastics technology student council
  2. Send the approved application to Ms. Sumnitsch, ÖH Leoben (eva.sumnitsch@unileoben.ac.at), or hand it in personally at her office.
  3. Send in the original invoice by mail to the Business Department of the ÖH or hand it in at the porter for Ms. Sumnitsch, ÖH Leoben

Elastomer Technology I

Reason for the action:

This grant is to cover the additional expenses incurred by travelling to Wimpassing for the Elastomer Technology I exam, therefore carpooling is to be arranged.

Amount of the grant: € 15.00

Who is entitled to apply: Students in the field of study Plastics Technology

Criteria to be fulfilled:

  1. Formation of car pools if travelling by car or presentation of the train ticket if travelling by train.
  2. Completed application: "Application for the travel allowance (€ 15) for the Elastomer Technology I examination", signed by Professor Holzer.
  3. Examination venue: Wimpassing

Application for travel allowance

Safety shoes

Reason for the action:

In the course of the Bachelor's and Master's degree programme in plastics technology, some practical exercises have to be completed for which personal protective equipment is mandatory. The grant is intended to relieve all those who have to purchase safety shoes specifically for these practicals.

Amount of the grant: € 20.00

Who is entitled to apply: Students in the field of study Plastics Technology

Criteria to be fulfilled - Attention: Since it is currently not possible to hand in the application at the ÖH office and receive the money in cash, the contribution will be transferred temporarily.

  1. Fill in the form and send it by e-mail to Ms. Sumnitsch (eva.sumnitsch@unileoben.ac.at).
  2. Send the original invoice by post to the ÖH Leoben Economic Department or hand it in to the porter for Ms. Sumnitsch.
